I am looking at Part L implications for an industrial building. There will be no workers inside the building, it just houses kit BUT it is heated and cooled. I am looking at p9 of the new Part L L2A but I am still not confident that this building is exempt from Part L? and what is 'low' energy demand?

Amanda, Looking at p.9 of part L2A, I wouldnt think it would qualify for exemption under the example in Ci. but possibly would as in the example in Cii. Please can you provide further details of the building and heating / cooling and the periods of use? and also details of the process that occurs within the building. Regards, CIBSE Technical
